4. Redskins almost defeated Packers Week 14

Rightfully so, the Green Bay Packers were considered heavy favorites entering their Week 14 meeting with the Redskins when looking at how the two teams compared on paper over the last few months.

And while the Packers deserve credit for hanging on to the 20-15 win, this still shows that Washington is capable of competing against some of the top contenders when on top of their game.

In fact, as much as Eagles fans don’t want to hear it, the effort by the Redskins should make the team even more concerned over Sunday’s game since the Packers are clearly a much better team than Philadelphia at the moment with the way things have been the last few months.

If Washington had found a way to leave Green Bay with a win, this would have marked the team’s third victory in a row, and continued to show the Redskins still have plenty of fight left in them to end 2019 on a high note.

Coming up just short against the Packers must have left the Redskins with a disappointing feeling, but if they can use that same energy from Green Bay against the Eagles, this could be another troubling factor for Philadelphia.
