1. Todd Bowles, currently the defensive coordinator in Tampa

You just kind of get what you get with Todd Bowles. He’s average. He’s not a head coach. He was average in his first attempt at being one. He went 26-41 as the head man of the New York Jets.

As a coordinator, he’s, well, average. just look at what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have done on defense with him at the helm.

It appears the Redskins have some interest now, and this isn’t the first time. During the most recent offseason, Washington tried to acquire him, but he decided to join Bruce Arians in Florida.

Now, with Jay Gruden out of the picture, rumor has it that Washington’s interest may be just as strong as it always has been. Could they offer him ‘THE’ job instead of ‘A’ job? Would he even take it if they did?
