Dak Prescott

ITI: Is Dak Prescott elite? Is he better than Carson Wentz in your opinion, and can the Cowboys win a Super Bowl with him at the helm?

Steven Mullenax: Prescott’s intangibles, leadership ability, locker room presence, work ethic, and media-savvy were off-the-charts from day one. This is a special player that you don’t have to worry about how hard he works or what he’s doing off of the field.

On the field, Dak has seen steady growth following a record-setting rookie year, and his fourth season has been his best. Comparing Wentz and Prescott is difficult as they’re such different players, and their careers have gone in different directions.

There are obviously things Prescott is better at then Wentz and vice versa, but I do believe both are capable of leading their teams to a Super Bowl win. Let’s not forget there are quarterbacks like Joe Flacco, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Hostetler, and Mark Rypien who have all lead their respective teams to a championship. While Hall of Fame passers like Dan Marino, Warren MoonDan Fouts, Jim Kelly, and Fran Tarkenton were never able to win the Super Bowl.
