2. Should we talk about snubs or are we being greedy?

For former Eagles great Eric Allen, the waiting game continues. He’s another one of those guys that you’d assume would be in, but he isn’t. He recently got a public endorsement, and it came from ‘Neon’ Deion Sanders.

Sure, as lovers of our ‘Birds’, we should probably be satisfied with seeing four of our own of them on the list, and we all are. Still, whether it be a good old case of being biased or just flat out impatience, everyone’s twiddling their thumbs waiting to see guys like Randall Cunnigham and Donovan McNabb in a gold jacket.

3. The wait continues for a few legends.

So, here we sit, now knowing that Jeff GarciaHerschel WalkerRicky WattersKeith JacksonSeth Joyner, and Brian Mitchell, all former players who spent time with the Eagles, will have to wait for at least another year. Thinking of them also makes us think about Wilbert Montgomery. Hopefully, he won’t have to wait much longer either.

They’re all, no doubt, waiting for their moment. We as fans hope that it comes sooner rather than later
