2 speedy recoveries

Santa, we’re asking for three wide receivers because we already know that two are guaranteed to be Eagles at least through the 2020 season. Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson are both of the IR, and while everyone wishes them speedy recoveries, there’s no guarantee that keeping both for another season is wise.

It would have been nice to see Jeffery and Jackson on the field and playing at a high level for 2019’s campaign, but now, it’s obvious that’s a dream that may never materialize. Again, we hope for a speedy recovery, but maybe that’s to ensure Jeffery has some trade value a few months from now. He never really bought in this season, did he?

Whether Philly moves on from Jeffery or not has yet to be seen, but regardless of what the plan is, moves need to be made to ensure the ‘Birds’ have a nice head start on the rest of this team’s future.
