3 wide receivers

Why are so many wide receivers divas? It would make the process of adding one easier if they behaved more like, say, a left tackle. They’d be guys that quarterbacks can rely on, yet there would always be that feeling that a quarterback’s wideout had his quarterback’s blindside.

Instead, wide receivers preen around, get themselves suspended from teams, and get traded over and over again.

They should seemingly help guarantee wins, yet there’s no tangible evidence that adding a star wide receiver guarantees wins or playoff appearances. Just look at what’s going on with Odell Beckham Jr.’s career. Is anyone saying they wouldn’t take OBJ? No! That would be ridiculous, and that statement says all that you need to know about NFL wide receivers.

You can’t live with them, and you can’t live without them. Just look at how bad Wentz has looked without a reliable one. Look at how successful he’s been when you give him one that isn’t a star but just wants to play ball (Greg Ward).
