5 guys in front of Wentz

As much as we love him, this needs to be said. Let’s all hope that this is the last ride for Jason Peters. There isn’t much that needs to be said other than that, but it’s the truth and you know it. At this point, he’s just hogging up cap space and important early-career snaps for Andre Dillard.

Last April, the Eagles traded up and got the guy that many believed to be the second-best offensive tackle in the most recent draft. We know he can play left tackle. We also know he didn’t fare too well in his lone appearance on the right side. Luckily, they have Lane Johnson over there.

Now, he may have been signed for too many years and too much money, but what are you going to do? Jason Kelce is nearing the end but still a Pro Bowl level talent. So is Brandon Brooks. Philly needs depth along the front, but as long as Carson Wentz stays upright, you won’t hear a ton of arguments about what his offensive linemen are making.
