10. Circumstances different from first meeting

Forget everything that took place back in October when these two rivals met for the first time because the circumstances are much different, and this game should be much closer.

To say Philadelphia was embarrassed by Dallas the first time would be a huge understatement since this game seemed over early on, as the Eagles would go on to lose 37-10.

Plenty of factors came into play as for why Philadelphia failed to show up during that game in Dallas, but since living in the past isn’t going to change anything, the Eagles need to make sure they learn from their mistakes.

For starters, the Eagles need to do whatever it takes to put up some points right away since another 10-point outing simply won’t be enough to take down the Cowboys on Sunday.

Unfortunately, Philadelphia won’t have anywhere near the kind of weapons they had to work with back in October on offense, but hopefully Carson Wentz finds a way to get the most out of this current group.

Otherwise, the Eagles could be in for another rough outing like October, and end up coming short of winning the NFC East title while the Cowboys get to extend their season into January, which no one wants to see happen.
