4. Eagles desperate for help at wide receiver

Greg Ward Jr. certainly picked the perfect time last Sunday to record his first career NFL touchdown to help seal the deal for the Eagles against the Redskins, but this offense is still in desperate need of help at the wide receiver position.

Philadelphia has been one of the biggest victims of the injury buy throughout the 2019 season, and there’s no reason to even try sugarcoating it when seeing how much the offense has been hurting at wide receiver.

Take a look at that game in Washington for instance when Ward was technically the only receiver to record a reception, and this shows what Wentz has been dealing with for most of the year.

The Eagles already suffered a major blow with DeSean Jackson‘s injury turning out to be more serious than originally expected, but the latest foot injury to Alshon Jeffery should be viewed as the icing on the cake.

If Philadelphia doesn’t see someone step up in the passing game on Sunday, it’s going to be difficult to picture the Eagles defeating the Cowboys.

With the kind of talent Dallas has to work with, this could turn into one of those games in which Philadelphia needs every point possible.
