20 Prospects Philadelphia Eagles fans should watch during NCAA Playoff
11. Neville Gallimore, defensive tackle, Oklahoma
Let’s be honest here. Fletcher Cox needs help. The Eagles need depth in the interior of the defensive line, and Mailk Jackson and Timmy Jernigan aren’t long-term answers. Everything Philly has in terms of youth is decent, but they’re probably not going to become Pro Bowlers. Philly must take a defensive tackle by the time April rolls around.
So far in 2019, Neville Gallimore racked up 27 tackles, four sacks, and two forced fumbles.
12. Rashard Lawrence, defensive tackle, LSU
Rashard Lawrence has some size to him and could satisfy a need if Philly addresses some other needs early and looks to add a defensive tackle in the middle to later rounds. He’s six-foot-three, 317 pounds, and affects the other team’s passing game as well.
He’s knocked down three attempts at the line this season and has added 23 tackles and 2.5 sacks to the stat line. In LSU’s toughest test of the season, their game versus the Alabama Crimson Tide, he was at his best.
