2. Jeffery’s return still up in air

Losing Jeffery towards the end of the regular season to a foot injury was another crushing blow to Philadelphia’s offense, and while the team seems hopeful the wideout will be ready to go by Week 1, there is no guarantee this will be the case.

Knowing Jeffery’s work ethic, the Eagles wideout is going to do everything in his power to make sure he is ready to go for that first game in September next season to help Philadelphia be in the best position possible to start the new year off on a hot note.

But since plenty could happen from now until the start of September, the Eagles need to take the proper approach of preparing for the possibility of Jeffery missing a few games, or the offense could be unprepared like certain times throughout the 2019 season.

A talented rookie like Lamb may not be able to fill the shoes left by Jeffery right away if Philadelphia did end up starting 2020 without their key wideout, but also it would certainly be better than nothing.

Plus, depending on what the Eagles decide to do with Jackson, a young wideout like Lamb could be needed even more to help on offense.
