Philadelphia Eagles 2020 schedule: Top 5 opponents outside NFC East
By Dan Parzych
1. Baltimore Ravens
Watching the Baltimore Ravens as the team to beat in the AFC entering the playoffs has been truly incredible to witness over the last few months, and it’s only a matter of time before Lamar Jackson officially locks up the MVP award.
Looking back at the NFL Draft in 2018, it’s crazy to think about all the critics who didn’t believe Jackson was capable of becoming a top quarterback in the NFL, and the best part for the Ravens is he seems to only be scratching the surface of his true potential.
With his explosive style of play, Jackson has proven to be an absolute nightmare for most opponents throughout the 2019 season, and even if the Eagles find a way to improve numerous weaknesses on the defensive side of the football in the offseason, this matchup will still be tough.
Luckily, Philadelphia will at least be able to try taking advantage of playing this one at home since a meeting in Baltimore would have been easy for some fans to make the road trip, but also make for a hostile environment since Ravens fans are some of the best for a reason.
Keeping Jackson and the rest of the offense in check along with outperforming the Ravens’ defense will be far from easy, but also a good test for the Eagles against one of the top contenders from the AFC.
