6. New England Patriots

Cards on the table, the New England Patriots haven’t seemed this beatable in a long time, and while the chances of them earning a trip to Miami for the Super Bowl look like a long shot at the moment, this is the last team anyone should rule out.

No one needs to explain just how competitive of a football player Tom Brady has proven to be throughout his career, as there’s a reason why the future Hall of Famer was able to help the Patriots earn a sixth Super Bowl title last season.

While New England’s defense has been one of the best in the league throughout the 2019 season, their offense arguably hasn’t been as explosive, and could be a key factor behind how deep of a run the Patriots can make in the playoffs.

Take a look at the regular-season finale for instance when New England couldn’t even figure out a way to defeat the Miami Dolphins at home, and it’s easy to see why this year’s Patriots could be the perfect opportunity for the Eagles to defeat the defending champions.

But if New England struggles to even advance beyond Wild Card Weekend or the Divisional Round, the Patriots may not get the opportunity to earn another trip to the big game.
