Biggest advantage: Injuries, Biggest disadvantage: Russell Wilson’s ability to extend plays

Don’t look now guys, but the Eagles are completely capable of winning this game. During the first half of the season, Russell Wilson always seemed to be north of 100 in his quarterback rating. During the second half of the season, he’s only done that once.

Now, that isn’t totally on the shoulders of ‘Dangeruss’. The Seattle Seahawks are the only team that can claim that they’ve been more ravaged by injuries than the Eagles have. Wilson lost his top three running backs, his best-receiving threats are hobbled, and it seems as though ‘Beast Mode’ Marshawn Lynch‘s biggest contribution will be in goal-line and short-yardage situations.

Just like it has been for most of his recent career. Everything falls squarely on the shoulders of Wilson.

You can’t count this guy out though. Philly’s defense struggles versus the deep pass and versus misdirection are well known, and there aren’t many deep balls or play action games that are better than the ones possessed by that guy in the Pacific-Northwest. Winning on Sunday won’t be easy.
