7. Wisconsin Running Back Jonathan Taylor

As previously mentioned, the running back position isn’t exactly a top priority for the Eagles in the first round of the draft, but also depending on which players are available, chances are the team will explore all options.

With the offense appearing to be set moving forward with Sanders as their top back, the next step for Philadelphia is figuring out which other running backs will compliment the former Penn State star heading into 2020.

Scott appears to be a likely candidate and the Eagles could always decide to give it another go with Howard, but if as far as other potential prospects in the first round are concerned, another interesting option could be Jonathan Taylor.

For the second year in a row, Taylor topped 2,000 rushing yards, and nearly could have made it three if he didn’t come up 23 yards short as a freshman in 2017.

Overall, Taylor’s numbers in three seasons with the Badgers were truly incredible after watching the running back rush for 6,174 yards to go along with 50 touchdowns.

Matching these numbers in the NFL will obviously seem impossible since it’s a whole new ball game, but the potential surrounding Taylor alone could take the Eagles’ offense to new levels.
