Philadelphia Eagles: 10 early candidates for No. 21 pick in 2020 NFL Draft
By Dan Parzych
5. LSU Cornerback Kristian Fulton
Could Ronald Darby be on his way out when looking at all of the injuries the cornerback has been dealing with over the last three seasons?
Better yet, are the Eagles confident enough that Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddox will continue to develop into the defenders they need to be?
Over the next few months, these questions will be answered for Philadelphia, but also this shouldn’t take away from the fact that April’s draft will most likely be used to address the need at the position.
The good news for the Eagles is when it comes to first-round prospects at cornerback, there will be a ton of great options to choose from, one of which could be Kristian Fulton out of LSU.
Fulton is just one of numerous defensive players that helped the Tigers put together one of the top defenses in the nation, and it’s only a matter of time before the cornerback is making an impact in the NFL.
After looking at all of the inconsistency at cornerback, Fulton seems capable of helping the Eagles resolve the issue heading into the 2020 season, that is assuming he lives up to the hype as one of the top players at the position from this year’s class.
