2. Should Jackson return in 2020?

DeSean Jackson couldn’t have asked for a better start to his second stint in Philadelphia back in Week 1 after the speedster torched the Washington Redskins with eight catches for 154 yards with two touchdowns.

All of a sudden, the Eagles seemed to be heading towards having one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, but little did the team know this would be the only meaningful game by Jackson in 2019.

Due to a core muscle injury that turned out to be more serious than originally expected, Jackson would only appear in three games for Philadelphia this past season, although he didn’t really see that much action against the Bears and Atlanta Falcons.

Without question, Philadelphia’s offense struggled in a big way during Jackson’s absence since Carson Wentz was missing that reliable deep threat to work with.

After seeing how things played out this year, there are plenty of reasons to believe the Eagles would want to give it another go with Jackson next season since Week 1 made it clear he can still play on a high level.

However, Jackson has been injury-prone throughout his career due to his smaller size, and if Philadelphia were to move on to pave the way for someone else, this also wouldn’t come as a surprise at all.
