1. Garrett would get young talent to work with

Similar to what he had in Dallas with Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, if Garrett were to take the job with the Giants, there would be plenty of excitement over the duo he would get to work with on offense.

In fact, no matter who New York ends up hiring as their next offensive coordinator, just the thought of getting two young stars on the rise in Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley to work with provides plenty of reasons for excitement.

Back in 2018, the Giants took some criticism for their decision to select Barkley in the draft with the second overall pick instead of focusing on a potential successor to Eli Manning.

But when seeing how it would eventually work itself out one year later after New York decided to take a risk on Jones, no one seems to be questioning the decisions by the Giants anymore.

This past season didn’t exactly turn out the way New York was hoping it would, but at least the potential surrounding Jones and Barkley on offense was enough to be excited about the future.

Garrett coming on board may sound like a long shot at the moment, but at least if it were to happen, he would already have some great young talent to work with on the offensive side of the football.
