3. Jason Garrett

As hilarious as it would be to mess with the Dallas Cowboys by hiring their former head coach in Jason Garrett, this is a move the Eagles need to avoid at all costs, no matter what.

Part of the reason behind Philadelphia’s decision to move on from Groh was due to the frustration of the former offensive coordinator failing to bring out the best from the offense.

Looking at Garrett’s time in Dallas, this is exactly the same scenario, only the frustration was on a whole new level than what the Eagles were dealing with.

With all of the injuries Philadelphia experienced to key players on both sides of the football this past season, Dallas should have been able to win the NFC East with ease.

Instead, it took the Cowboys until the middle of December just to defeat a team with a winning record, and the offense led by Dak Prescott along with Ezekiel Elliott failed to live up to the hype, which falls on Garrett.

Most head coaches would love to have the kind of talent Garrett was fortunate enough to work with over the last couple of years with the Cowboys, and if he couldn’t even lead the team to a division title this past season, why should the Eagles feel confident in him running their offense?
