In one fell swoop, the Philadelphia Eagles have decided to officially part ways with both Mike Groh and Carson Walch. Here are five possible replacements.

Well, at the time of this story being published, it’s just past lunchtime on the East Coast for many of you, and finally, you’ve got your wish. The Philadelphia Eagles have finally parted ways with both Mike Groh and Carson Walch. There are vacancies at both the wide receivers coach and at the offensive coordinator position now.

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson irritated a few people on January 8th while making two statements. In the span of about ten minutes, he mentioned that he was satisfied with his coaching staff, but he also said that he would continue to evaluate everyone.

Less than one day later, both Groh and Walch are out. The news won’t disappoint anyone.

Honestly, both firings feel as though they are a little late. Groh was in over his head. The receivers were either regressing or confused about what they were supposed to be doing under Walch. Let’s not waste a ton of time. Here are five guys who, immediately and on the surface, seem like logical ideas for stepping into the role of being Philly’s next offensive coordinator.
