Unless you’re an alumnus or a fan, there wasn’t a ton of reason to pay attention to Mississippi State Bulldogs football in 2019. If you did catch a game or two, you probably saw a lot of Cameron Dantzler. He’s more of a day two prospect.

Dantzler jumps out at guys who see him on film. He’s a rangy six-foot-two. He weighs in at 195 pounds, and in 2019, he came up with 40 total tackles, two interceptions, eight passes defended, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He may be better suited to play safety at the NFL level. he’s closer to Rasul Douglas than Cre’Von LeBlanc athletically.

. . . Kristian Fulton. 5. player. 817

Kristian Fulton is a name that’s been linked to the Eagles before. Michael Renner over at Pro Football Focus had Philly taking Fulton with the 12th-overall selection. We know two things about that theory now. One, Philly won’t be picking 12th, and second, Fulton is more of a second-day prospect than a first-round selection.

In all honesty, however, you may be able to run down a few Eagles fans that won’t struggle with the idea of the ‘Birds’ taking a corner in rounds one and two come April. The LSU Tigers put out a ton of cornerback talent in the NFL. Might we see Fulton paired with another former Tiger, Jalen Mills?
