How is QB1? What’s his state of mind?

The Eagles have sent the play in for review, as they’ve done with every other play this season that they would view as questionable. We’re all waiting to see what comes of that. Coach also answered the many erroneous critiques that Wentz’s head injury has something to do with his injury history.

"This hit had nothing to do with anythng other than an unneccassary roughness penalty, a hit. That’s what it was… It wasn’t a guy rolling up on his leg… He was protecting himsel by going down in this instance, so I don’t think he’s injury prone. He played really tough this season, physically and mentally. He battled through his own soreness and pain… I think this was a great yeat for him…He’s disappointed too… He felt like we, and we all did, that we would have won that game."

We can all put the period at the end of that sentence. There isn’t a whole lot that needs to be said after that. We turn the page on the 2019 season, and we await the magic of 2020. After everything we’ve seen, there are plenty of reasons to be encouraged.
