2019 Philadelphia Eagles team awards: Best players, best moments
For everything the Eagles did well, they did have some tendencies where they would just fall asleep and go on these long offensive droughts. At times, the offense scored at will, and the defense did nothing to help them. At other times, the defensive could play lights out, and when Philly took possession of the ball, nothing happened.
For all of the criticism he takes, Jim Schwartz had his guys ready to play more often than not, but field position played a major part of that as Cameron Johnston did a nice job of flipping the field position time and time again.
His 71 punts yielded a 46.4 average with a long of 61. There were only four touchbacks, and he pinned the other team’s offense inside their own 20-yard line 28 times.
