4. Chase Claypool

Similar to Pittman, Chase Claypool crushed his previous career highs as a senior during his senior season with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

So if Claypool was already on the radar for numerous teams in need of help at the wide receiver position for 2020, chances are the Notre Dame wideout helped his draft stock in a big way over the last couple of months.

Catching 66 passes for 1,037 yards was already impressive enough for Claypool in 2019, but the fact that he managed to haul in 13 touchdowns as well shows how reliable he can be in the end zone.

Even though Wentz is expected to have two reliable receivers in Jeffery and Jackson back for the 2020 season, the addition of a playmaker in Claypool could help the receiving corps reach new levels.

Unfortunately, Claypool isn’t nearly as explosive as some of the other receivers already discussed, but once again, this shouldn’t prevent the Eagles from considering the Notre Dame product.

If anything, Philadelphia just needs to look at how Claypool helps make up for this in other areas, and realize how much a selection like this would be worth it for the Eagles in the long run since over time, he could work his way into a larger role as well.
