1. player. 842. . . . Derrick Brown

Unless there are plans to trade up, the likelihood of the Eagles landing former Auburn Tigers defensive tackle Derrick Brown is slim to none. They’d probably have to trade up, and that’s only if Philly’s actually considering the idea of taking a defensive tackle early. They may opt to explore some other needs like the ones they have at wide receiver and at cornerback if they don’t and choose to stay put.

If they are thinking about the defensive line’s interior early, Brown is the cream of this draft’s crop. He’s six-foot-four. He weighs 322 pounds, and in 2019, he helped his defense out tremendously with 55 total tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles, and four passes batted down.

player. 850. . . . Javon Kinlaw. 2

Depending on how the draft unfolds, Javon Kinlaw could wind up going early, or he could end up being one of the first guys taken on Day 2. Many see him as the second-best defensive tackle in the draft behind Brown, and with his six-foot-six and 310-pound frame, he made the 35 tackles, six sacks, and two passes defended that he had in 2020 for the South Carolina Gamecocks look easy.

He fights off blockers very well, a trait that will do him a ton of good at the next level.
