840. . . . Tedarrell Slaton. 5. player

Tedarrell Slaton is a six-foot-five and 343-pound defensive tackle who made a name for himself with the Florida Gators. He’s more than likely a Day 2 prospect in Aprils’s upcoming draft, and Eagles fans figure to hear plenty about him between now and then.

In 2019, he notched 29 tackles and two sacks, and though some believe that he should return to ‘The Swamp’ for another season, his plan for himself seems to be foregoing that final year of eligibility and heading off for the greener pastures of the NFL.

857. . . . Mustafa Johnson. 6. player

Mustafa Johnson is an undersized defensive tackle by some teams’ standards, but at six-foot-two and 290 pounds, there are other franchises that are going to like his athleticism. He’s a little raw and inexperienced. He only played in 20 career games at the collegiate level, including eight in 2019, but his stat line will grab the attention of quite a few NFL scouts.

In 2019, he added 28 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and a forced fumble to his resume, giving him 80 total tackles for his career. 41 of those 80 tackles were of the solo variety, and 20 resulted in a loss of yardage. Add that to 12 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

With the right coaching staff, Johnson could be a monster.
