9. Shea Patterson

Right away, one of the key factors that stand out right away in regards to Shea Patterson is the smart decision making under center when seeing how the quarterback’s interceptions were single-digits in each of his four seasons between Michigan and Ole Miss.

Even if Patterson only appeared in three games as a freshman in 2016 with the Rebels, the fact that he only threw 15 interceptions over the last two seasons with the Wolverines on top of 45 touchdown passes says a lot about the kind of quarterback he is.

As for whether Patterson’s skills will be just as effective at the NFL level, well the good news is he seems capable of becoming a reliable backup for some team with the proper coaching.

Patterson’s ability to throw the deep ball may not be as impressive as some of the other quarterback from this year’s draft class, but also there are plenty of great NFL quarterbacks who find themselves in a similar situation, and still find ways to be successful.

Not to mention, with Patterson proving to be great as a mobile quarterback as well, this seems to give the young quarterback even more potential in the NFL when the time comes, even as a backup.
