7. Khalil Tate

Numbers wise, Arizona’s Khalil Tate doesn’t stand out like some of the other top quarterbacks from this year’s draft class, but the quarterbacks skill set makes it seem like he could be one of those underrated additions to a roster at the NFL level, especially in Philadelphia.

First off, similar to what Lamar Jackson was dealing with after declaring for the NFL Draft, Tate has made it clear that he has no intention to make the switch to wide receiver, no matter how many teams believe he would be better off at this position.

For obvious reasons, Tate is nowhere near the same level as Jackson skills wise since the Baltimore Ravens star is on his way to taking home MVP honors, but his ability to run does give an extra advantage compared to other players.

Instead of pointing out that Tate threw for less than 2,000 yards as a senior with the Wildcats while tossing just 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, football fans should look at his impressive 2017 campaign as a runner.

By rushing for 1,411 yards to go along with 12 touchdowns during the 2017 season, Tate already looks like one of those quarterbacks that can bring plenty to the table at the NFL level if a team is willing to provide the right opportunity.
