4 starters Philadelphia Eagles must finally say goodbye to in free agency

The Eagles gave Timmy Jernigan a one-year deal last season as a final chance for him to prove that he could play to the level that he did before the herniated disk and subsequent back surgery that saw him miss a majority of the 2018-2019 season.
Unfortunately, he never was able to return to the form that Eagles fans remember, where he served as a nice compliment to Philly’s star defensive tackle, Fletcher Cox. Jernigan saw action in 11 games this season, playing over 50 percent of defensive snaps in only four of those appearances and ending the season with just seven solo tackles and two sacks.
The one-year experiment was a worthy gamble, but now it is clear that Jernigan is just another member of the Super Bowl team that the Eagles now need to part ways with. He certainly isn’t the only Eagles player who’s earned that distinction.
