Honorable mention: Nick Coe (Auburn), Jabari Zuniga (Florida) Chauncey Rivers (Mississippi State), Trevis Gipson (Tulsa)

Chauncey Rivers of the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Trevis Gipson of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, Jabari Zuniga of Florida, and Nick Coe of Auburn all deserve an honorable mention. Zuniga missed all but six games in 2019 but racked up 14 tackles with three sacks when he was available.

Coe disappointed in 2019 but has racked up 70 total tackles, nine sacks, and a forced fumble throughout 29 games and three seasons. He’s only played in 14 games over the past two seasons. That’s a concern.

Rivers played two games for the Georgia Bulldogs before transferring to Mississippi State for his final 25 and recording 67 total tackles (32 were solo)  to go along with eight sacks, and a forced fumble over that stretch. He also got better down the stretch in 2019. He’s six-foot-three and 275 pounds.

Gipson tallied 49 tackles and two forced fumbles to go along with the eight sacks he collected. He’s six-foot-four and 268 pounds. There’s a lot to be worked out between now and April, but Gipson, Coe, Rivers, and Zuniga all figure to go anywhere from the second day of the draft to sometime during the third. It all depends on how they progress between now and then and what happens at the NFL Combine.
