10 potential free agents Philadelphia Eagles can pair with Brandon Graham
Back in 2018, Indianapolis Colts defensive end Jabaal Sheard aggravated Carson Wentz often in Frank Reich‘s Week 3 return to the ‘City of Brotherly Love’. He got in on a sack, hit ’11’ two more times, and even got in the way of one of Wentz’s pass attempts.
Over the course of his nine-year career, Sheard has seen three teams and registered 387 total tackles, including 264 solo tackles and 71 tackles for a loss. Add that to 92 additional hits on the quarterback, 13 forced fumbles, and 51 sacks.
2019 was a down year. He racked up just 4.5 sacks. Sheard turns 31 years old in May, so he doesn’t solve Philly’s desire to get younger. Still, if he’s in a limited role and a part of a defensive rotation that reduces his time on the field, he could be very beneficial to the Eagles’ defense, especially their pass rush.
