Both Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and the team’s defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz love versatility. Matt Judon fits that mold to a T. He can play both the outside linebacker position in the 3-4 scheme and defensive end in the 4-3.

He figures to leave the Baltimore Ravens organization in the offseason and when he does, he’ll hit the open market with quite a few suitors. The Eagles would be wise to give him a look.

The Ravens quietly continue to be one of the league’s models of consistency. They draft well, and when change does come, there always seems to be a plan in place. Prior to the 2019 campaign, Baltimore said goodbye to team legend and future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Terrell Suggs. He signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

One day later, Za’Darius Smith signed with the Green Bay Packers, and just like that, the Ravens lost their two best edge rushers. Judon needed to step up, and he did in a major way, logging 54 total tackles and 9.5 sacks during the regular season. He’d look really nice in midnight green and lined up on the other side of Brandon Graham.
