3. player. 55. . . . Bud Dupree

Bud Dupree‘s been in the 3-4 scheme since entering the league as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015, but playing in a 4-3 with his hand in the dirt won’t cause any major issues. He’s one of those free agents that fans love, one who’s both young and seemingly on his way to becoming very polished.

In many ways, Dupree’s journey mirrors Graham’s. Both were first-round draft choices that came on late. Many Steelers fans saw Dupree as a disappointment before his breakout came in 2019.

This past season, Dupree was a gamechanger, registering 68 total tackles with 49 of those being of the solo variety and with 16 resulting in a loss of yardage. That gives him 200 total tackles and 31.5 sacks for his career.

It seems as though one of the Steelers’ priorities is keeping Dupree and a franchise tag is an option, but if they let him walk, Philly should take a good hard look at him. With proper coaching, he can continue to progress rather than head in the wrong direction.
