1. player. 811. . . . Lavert Hill

At five-foot-eleven and 181 pounds, Lavert Hill is small, but as a guy who may end up running the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds or less, it’s difficult to imagine that there are going to be a ton of NFL receivers that are going to be able to run away from him.

Hill recorded 16 tackles, registered three interceptions, and another batted down another ten passes in his final season with the Michigan Wolverines. As a junior, he broke up another five passes and snagged an interception. Once he reaches the next level, it’s highly likely that he’ll be inserted in someone’s lineup as a slot guy.

player. 804. . . . Stanford Samuels. 2

Florida State Seminoles fans had to hear all of the usual jargon about how the 2019 NCAA season being the year that they would finally return to prominence. Then, as quickly as that talk circulated, it became painfully apparent that this wouldn’t be the year. The ‘Noles turned in another pathetic season by their standards.

It’s hard to blame a lot of that on Stanford Samuels though. This six-foot-one, 185-pound future NFL prospect registered 60 combined tackles, two interceptions, and seven passes defended during his final season in Tallahassee. That gave him 145 total tackles, a sack, eight interceptions, 16 passes defended, and a forced fumble to conclude his 34-game career with the ‘Noles.

He now leaves for the greener pastures of the NFL. Scouts have him everywhere from a third-round guy to someone who will come off of draft boards on the last day.
