866. . . . Dane Jackson. 5. player

The last time the Eagles took a corner from Pitt, things worked out pretty well, but obviously that can’t be the sole reason for investing a draft pick on another.

These days, sports stations like the ACC Network give us all access to everything a sports fan would want to know. Atlantic Coast Conference football fans got quite a few looks at the Pittsburgh Panthers and a potential midround draft prospect in cornerback Dane Jackson.

He’s a six-feet tall. He tips the scales at 190 pounds. He could serve an NFL franchise well in a reserve role or as a special teams player (or both). His stock could rise with a nice Combine showing.

854. . . . Chase Lucas. 6. player

If you like both size and speed, put an asterisk beside Chase Lucas‘ name. He’s a six-foot, 175-pound highlight reel who cut his teeth in former Eagle Herm Edwards‘ exciting but often underachieving Arizona State Sun Devils football program.

In his final run in Tempe, he carved out a nice resume with 53 total tackles, four passes defended, and an interception just one year after registering 62 total stops, two sacks, three interceptions, and eight pass breakups in 2018. He could beef up a little, but he’s going to get talked about a lot between now and April either way.
