7. player. 806. . . . John Reid

Now, there are a lot of Eagles fans who probably saw a ton of Penn State Nittany Lions football in 2019, especially if they reside in Pennsylvania. They probably won’t need to be introduced to five-foot-ten and 189 pounds John Reid, but the rest of the world might.

Here goes.

Reid is seen as a possible day-three draftee, but like Troy Pride Jr., he cooled off some when he lost one of the guys he shared the field with during the 2018 season. In this case, we mean Amani Oruwariye.

Reid’s numbers in 2018 are almost identical to his numbers in 2019, but he wasn’t as effective down the stretch. Was that due to playing better competition, fatigue, losing a good teammate or a combination of all three?

player. 886. . . . Nevelle Clarke. 8

Nevelle Clarke possesses a nice sized frame at six-foot-one and187 pounds. In 2019, he racked up 22 tackles, two interceptions, and 11 passes defended, giving him 107 total tackles, a sack, five interceptions, and 29 pass breakups for his four-year, 36-game career.

He was seen by many NFL franchises and scouts as a player to watch coming into the 2019 season, and with a nice showing at the NFL Combine, his stock could rise even higher.
