Honorable mention:

L’Jarius Sneed (Louisiana Tech), Jerry Jacobs (Arkansas State), Keith Washington (West Virginia), Josiah Scott (Michigan State), Tino Ellis (Maryland)

L’Jarius Sneed caught the eyes of a lot of pro scouts in 2018 who were actually attending Louisiana Tech’s games to get a look at Jaylon Ferguson, now with the Baltimore Ravens. A buzz around Sneed’s name was born, and he’s been the subject of draft talk ever since. He may be a day-three prospect.

Tino Ellis is a six-foot, 180-pound standout, formerly of the Maryland Terrapins. His numbers weren’t overwhelming in 2019, primarily because he was only on the field for four games. but with 32 games worth of film to cycle through, it’s obvious that he could succeed at the next level with good coaching.

Jerry Jacobs made it on to a few watch lists before 2019’s regular season. He could wind up being an undrafted guy that someone picks up later.

Josiah Scott missed the first eight games of the Michigan State Spartans‘ 2018 season with a knee injury but rebounded in 2019 with 55 tackles and three interceptions. He’s five-foot-ten and weighs 168 pounds. Being a smaller prospect may mean he goes undrafted, but we’ll have to wait and see how he progresses.
