player. 44. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Edge. 16. LSU. K'Lavon Chaisson

Keeping the trend going with LSU defenders since the Tigers should expect numerous players selected in the first round, if the Atlanta Falcons were looking to add another effective pass-rusher to their group, K’Lavon Chaisson could make for the perfect mid-round selection.

Like some of his other teammates, Chaisson played a key role in helping LSU win the National Championship this season, and it seems like only a matter of time before the defender is making a similar impact on the NFL level.

With the way Chaisson is built, a team like the Falcons could certainly use his skill set to help the defense compete with the rest of the NFC South since the division is loaded with talented offenses, as previously mentioned.

This past season, Atlanta ended up watching the playoffs from home, despite ending the year as one of the hottest teams in the NFL by winning six of their final eight games.

One can only imagine how different things would have been for the Falcons if it weren’t for that horrendous start to 2019, but with the right adjustments through free agency and the draft, Atlanta seems like a strong bounce-back candidate.

Whether Chaisson happens to be part of the Falcons to put the team in better shape to help pull this off, time will tell for Atlanta.
