2020 NFL Mock Draft 1.0: Eagles focus on safety with Grant Delpit
By Dan Parzych
For most of the John Harbaugh era, the Baltimore Ravens have been known for their intense defense, as the unit always seemed to be the main factor behind the team being a top contender in the AFC each season.
But as football fans learned this past season, the Ravens have become a whole new threat thanks to their defense receiving strong support from the other side of the football in Lamar Jackson.
Never in a million years did football fans think that Jackson of all quarterbacks would find a way to earn MVP honors during his second NFL season, but Baltimore certainly isn’t complaining.
While the Ravens will certainly continue to build a better offense around their beloved MVP on offense, when it comes to the direction they should focus on in the first round of the draft, defense seems like their best option.
Since Baltimore could benefit from focusing on linebacker early on, and Kenneth Murray is considered to be one of the best at the position, just imagine what the addition of the Oklahoma star would do for this defense.
Like most rookies, Murray brings a lot of good qualities to the table, and could see his game elevate to new levels by joining a defense that is already viewed as one of the top in the league with the Ravens.
