Much has been made about Philly’s potential ten draft picks and a potential $42 million budget that they’ll have to go shopping with. Somewhere Eagles vice president and general manager Howie Roseman is smiling (or salivating).

If you’re like most of us, however, somewhere along the line, someone probably taught you about the dangers of overspending. Either that or they told you that you don’t have to spend money just because you have money to spend.

Yes, it’s still the free agency period that we’re discussing, so with that being said, someone’s going to get too much money and get signed for too many years, a mistake the Eagles have been guilty of making throughout the course of history.

Philly dropped out of the Jalen Ramsey and Jadeveon Clowney sweepstakes a season ago, and that was for one very obvious reason. The cost was too high. If they can get a potential starter without breaking the bank, that’s definitely a course of action that they should take, and Logan Ryan is one of the best mixtures of talent and cost-effectiveness that will be on the market if the Titans don’t lock him up long term.
