1. Nick Vigil

Doesn’t it seem like the Eagles are always in need of help at the linebacker position at the start of each offseason?

Philadelphia certainly has plenty of reasons to feel confident in their current group of linebackers heading into the 2020 season, but there is always room for improvement.

Ever since Nick Vigil joined the Bengals in 2016 after the team decided to use a third-round pick on the Utah State product, the linebacker has proven to get better with experience, and it’s safe to assume that he would flourish on a defense like the Eagles.

In comparison, Cincinnati’s defense doesn’t even come close to Philadelphia, and after Vigil found a way to start every game this past season, he seems to be heading towards a solid pay raise this offseason with his next deal.

Whether that contract could end up coming from the Eagles, Vigil may not stand out like some of the other top linebackers expected to be available in free agency, but if Philadelphia is looking for one flying under the radar, this could be one of their best options.

For all the Eagles know, Vigil could be the kind of defender that sees his game elevate to new levels by joining a serious contender instead of struggling team like the Bengals.
