Jason Peters

At the ripe age of 37, nobody will bat an eyelash should you exclaim that Jason Peters is over the hill at this point in his seemingly endless career.

There’s no doubt that Peters was a force to be reckoned with and it’s a testament to his talent that he hasn’t retired yet, but he no longer provides stability on the left side, having only played one full season over the last three years.

The Eagles already knew this was a long time coming as evidenced by the selection of Andre Dillard in last year’s draft. The organization is ready for life post-Peters.

Prediction: Peters retires as an Eagle.

Jordan Howard

The Eagles fleeced the Chicago Bears when they traded for Jordan Howard, exchanging only a sixth-round pick that under specific conditions would become only as high as a fifth-round pick.

Howard was solid his first season in Philadelphia for the most part, accruing seven touchdowns and 594 all-purpose yards in 10 games.

The running back likely won’t charge a large fee like big-time backs such as Melvin Gordon and Derrick Henry, who will most likely command the market.

Pairing the 25-year-old Howard with Miles Sanders would give the Birds a lightning-and-thunder rushing attack for years to come if he were to return.

Prediction: Howard re-signs with the team.

Nate Sudfeld

Nate Sudfeld has yet to truly embody the backup quarterback role the Eagles initially signed him for.

Sudfeld sat behind Philadelphia hero Nick Foles for two years before getting his opportunity this past season, only to end up suffering a broken wrist in the preseason.

The vibe surrounding Sudfeld is that the organization genuinely appreciates having him around the locker room. It also doesn’t hurt that the Eagles only have one quarterback currently under contract beyond this offseason.

Prediction: Sudfeld re-signs with the team.
