Rodney McLeod

One of the toughest decisions the Eagles will have to make this offseason is deciding the fate of Rodney Mcleod. It’s not that he isn’t productive, on the contrary, he’s amassed eight interceptions and four forced fumbles during his four-year stay in Philadelphia.

The issue here will assuredly be the money. At 29-years-old, McLeod will have some juice in the tank, but he also may not have another opportunity in his career to get paid well.

On the bright side, the Eagles will have the money to extend McLeod beyond 2020 and would be smart to do so as this year’s safety market isn’t palpable.

Prediction: McLeod re-signs with the team.

Jalen Mills

Jalen Mills is an interesting case, as he’s struggled with consistency, but at the same time seems to improve, demonstrating flashes of brilliance at times.

While Mills has come up big over the years by shutting down key players such as Julio Jones when it mattered the most, there have also been other times in which he has allowed players like DeVante Parker to absolutely bully him.

Despite the consistency issues, the organization appears to like Mills and keeping him on board wouldn’t deter them from going after another cornerback or two.

The Eagles are more likely to let go of Rasul Douglas or Sidney Jones before they do Mills.

Prediction: Mills re-signs with the team.

Kamu Grugier-Hill

A fact of life is the current Eagles regime does not value linebackers. Sadly for Kamu Grugier-Hill, he has more value on special teams than he does as a weak-side linebacker.

The plus side is that he won’t cost a pretty penny should the Eagles decide to keep him, yet the later rounds of the draft can yield productive players on special teams that would cost even less.

Prediction: The Eagles let Grugier-Hill walk.
