5. player. 834. . . . Trevon Hill

Is anyone else just waiting with bated breath and hoping that one day the Miami Hurricanes will be good again one day? Now, that isn’t something you’ll agree with if you’re a Florida State Seminoles fan, but the Canes invented swagger and as lovers of college football, we should all hope ‘The U’ turns back into that team we loved cheering for or against.

They don’t crank out the NFL talent or dance as often as they used to, but occasionally you find a potential stud. Throw Trevon Hill in that category. He’s possibly a sixth-rounder in 2020’s draft or an undrafted free agent who will get a call shortly thereafter.

He’ll need some solid interviews too as there will be quite a few teams that will ask him about his dismissal from the Virginia Tech Hokies. The good news is he’s seemed to rebound nicely.

Malcolm Roach is a six-foot-three, 270-pound prospect who could be taken in the later rounds, or he could fall off of draft boards entirely. He also had one of the better seasons of anyone on this list of potential late-round candidates.

In 2019, Roach made a name for himself in a conference where no one plays any defense, the Big 12. He racked up 40 tackles, three sacks, and a pass breakup. He’s six-foot-three. He weighs 270 pounds and should pay dividends as a reserve or a special teams player at the next level.

We’ll have to wait and see if he or any of these other potential Eagles prospects grab the attention of the ‘Birds’ come April.
