15 Philadelphia Eagles LB targets to potentially replace Nigel Bradham
Cue the Ohio State Buckeyes portion of this conversation. With NFL-level talent all over the place, it isn’t hard to find someone at every position to talk about when the offseason rolls around.
In this case, it’s Malik Harrison. He’s a six-foot-three, 240-pound standout that should be in every pro scout’s top ten for linebackers. He’s a potential day-three guy who registered 75 stops, 4.5 sacks, and four pass breakups.
As a junior, he was arguably more impressive with 81 tackles, including 8.5 tackles for a loss of yardage, and an interception.
David Reese II will get a few looks because he racked up 88 tackles and two quarterback sacks in college football’s best conference, the SEC, but there are questions about both his size and his motor.
Physically, he looks more like a safety. He’s six-foot-one and tips the scales at 227 pounds, but then again, he’s only eight pounds lighter than Nathan Gerry. Either way, it’s almost impossible to ignore 88 tackles and two sacks by anyone playing against the nation’s best talent.
Expect to hear Reese’s name called on the draft’s third day.
