3. Why would he subject himself to Jerry Jones? Why would he leave the AFC?

Ask yourself a question. Don’t ask Cowboys fans because you know it’s impossible to have a rational conversation with them about anything football related. Just say this out loud to yourself. ‘If I was Tom Brady, would I trade Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick for Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy?’.

You guys know what Jerry Jones is. Sure, the Cowboys have a nice roster, but that’s going to get busted up some thanks to horrible decision-making and the maniacal owner. Sure, Brady would get an all-world offensive line in ‘Big D’, but he’d also have to weather the storm that we call the NFC.

Do you really think Brady wants to go to the other conference and land in a division where he has to see Ron Rivera and Doug Pederson twice a year, or do you think, for his legacy, that he’d rather stay in the AFC East?

What would you do?

LeBron James was mentioned earlier, and though none of us can prove this, we all believe from time to time that he doesn’t make all of those consecutive NBA Finals appearances if he would have played in the Western Conference.

Tom Brady is great, but he benefited greatly because, for almost 20 years, the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets all fell on hard times at the exact same time. That may ever happen again. Why on Earth would he switch conferences now to have to endure an NFC that has great teams everywhere? Again, what would you do?

Sure, the decision isn’t ours. It belongs to ’12’, but we’ve all watched the guy long enough to know he’s smart, so we can probably guess that he’s well aware that trading a red, white, and blue jersey for a blue and grey one is a bad idea. Nice try guys and gals, but let’s stick a fork in that one.
