2. Gisele Bündchen

You may have heard this a time or two, but Tom Brady’s married to a supermodel, one who, in 2014, was listed as the 89th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes. That doesn’t sound like someone who wants to mull around in Foxborough, Massachusetts does it?

Gisele Bündchen has sacrificed on more than one occasion for the sake of the family. Brady’s taken pay cuts when he very well could have asked for more money than any quarterback has ever made and gotten exactly what he asked for. Brady could have taken his talents more conducive to an environment where he could spend more time around his wife and she could thrive. Instead, he hung out around Boston, and to her credit, his lovely wife supported him (and probably sacrificed some of her own income in the process).

No disrespect is intended toward Boston or Foxborough. They’re both great cities. but they aren’t really anywhere we’d expect a supermodel to call home. Dallas has a slight edge in that respect but had Bündchen had her say, Tom probably would have ended up in Los Angeles.

Think about it. They own a home there, and there aren’t too many other cities in our great country that could satisfy the career choices of both parties. If he leaves the Pats, Tom’s next landing spot will be just as much about his brand as it will be about the team’s.

This is football’s version of LeBron James going to Miami or Los Angeles. This is bigger than the game for ’12’, and if you don’t think Ms. Bündchen is in Tom’s ear this time around, you’re crazy.

Oh, and by the way, the Los Angeles Chargers get a new stadium this season, they may need a quarterback, and they’ve been dying for a shot in the arm to get fans interested. The only problem with the L.A. theory is they’re actually in worse shape than the Cowboys. Again, we all know Tom wants to win, and Anthony Lynn is no Bill Belichick.
