As mentioned, seven former Tigers have been given the call to show up at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. They include Simmons, Higgins, and Terrell, two offensive linemen, Tremayne Anchrum and John Simpson, and two defensive backs. Their names are Tanner Muse and K’Von Wallace. Both figure to play safety at the professional level.

In Wallace, they get a five-foot-eleven defensive back that tips the scales at 199 pounds and should come off of draft boards sometime between Round 4 and Round 6. In his senior season, he registered 63 tackles, two interceptions, ten pass breakups, and two sacks.

Muse has a little more size to him. He’s a six-foot-two, 225-pound playmaker (and headhunter) that hustled his way into 50 tackles, four interceptions, and three pass breakups. He had a bad game versus the Virginia Cavaliers in the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte, but he could shine at the next level. Pay attention to him during the combine and Clemson’s Pro Day.

Any pro scouts that make their way down to South Carolina for that one should also get a good look at defensive tackle Nyles Pinckney. He isn’t getting a ton of hype, but at six-foot-one and 300 pounds, he figures to be scooped up as an undrafted free agent if no one scoops him up in the selection meeting.
