CeeDee Lamb, WIDE RECEIVER. . player. 815. . .

If the Philadelphia Eagles somehow wind up with CeeDee Lamb, the citizens of the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ could wind up throwing a parade before he even plays a down of professional football. There isn’t a ‘Birds’ fan on the planet that doesn’t want Philly to land a big-name wide receiver with one of their draft picks, and the names don’t get any bigger than CeeDee Lamb, unless of course your name is Jerry Jeudy.

Even to the casual college football fan, Lamb is a man who needs no introduction.

Widely regarded as the second-best wideout on the board behind Jeudy, Lamb had an off-year in the eyes of many, missed the game versus the Baylor Bears, and still wound up with 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns.

He isn’t going to ever be confused for being one of the speed guys at the college or NFL level, but he can step in on day one and be the number-one guy for many of pro football’s franchises, including the one on Philly. Can you imagine him putting up 62 catches and 1,300 yards there? He’s, without question, a first-round guy.

There are rumors that he has issues with his concentration and that he’s a partier, but the right locker room environment and coaching staff could be just what the doctor ordered.
