2. Jason Verrett

To say Jason Verrett brings injury concerns to the table would be a huge understatement when seeing how the cornerback has only appeared in six games dating back to the 2016 season.

From suffering a torn Achilles tendon during the first day of training camp in 2018 to dealing with an ankle injury this past season that resulted in playing just one game for San Francisco, it’s been an interesting couple of years in the NFL for Verrett.

While all of the injuries would make it seem like the Eagles should do everything in their power to avoid Verrett, but also the situation would make it seem like Philadelphia could get him at a favorable price.

After seeing how things played out last season at the cornerback position, there’s no question that Philadelphia needs to add some sort of depth over the next few months, and hopefully avoid giving Ronald Darby another chance.

Not to mention, when seeing how Verrett put together a Pro Bowl campaign in 2015 when he was a member of the Los Angeles Chargers, who were in San Diego at the time, this shows what the cornerback is capable of when healthy.

But once again, getting Verrett to stay healthy has been easier said than done.
